Spilt Milk

I've recently realized that I never put Spilt Milk up under the good old beautiful eyes of Clint Eastwood! So here it is, my end of the year FdA graduation film that has been through only one festival (the only one I sent it to) and thus loves scrutiny.

A SHOUT OUT

I just got this email from Rich Warren who works with the Bristol Encounters Film Festival. He sent me a list of all the people who watched my film in the festival's viewing library. The list consisted of TWO people. Brilliant. I attached an image of the email:

So I just want to thank Tanya Scott and Zara Percy for watching my film Spilt Milk! And as a gift to you, my fellow classmate/flatmate Perrie will do a dance!

Cake Times

I liked the shape of the different nuts I had so I sort of just tried to arrange them nicely.

Delicioso!

This started out as a concept design for my next film, but I'm not sure now. I just liked the colors I was using.

I am craving the sun!

The start of a possible "Combover" series.

D&AD Contest!

Well I started working on the D&AD Contest which is to design a character for a Disney comedy series and to produce a 30- 60 second animation for it. I believe entries start getting turned in by the 7th of February so I better get cracking! Here's a couple initial drawings. My idea was a kid whale who is trying to get really good on the banjo so he could join his famous banjo playing father on tour. I changed my mind though on the whale and tried making him into a little boy, and I think I'm going to make the banjo a magic banjo, just to throw that in.

Banjos are a bit lame but I'll work on it.

My Mind Can't Focus At All

So I should be working on my dissertation at the moment but because I do not wish to, I'm uploading some recent drawings for my next film. I have a vague idea what the film will be about but all I know is that I want a Clint Eastwood-esque character, my current obsession. At least that's settled.

LOVE: Old Fangs

A really lovely animation called Old Fangs that really embraces colour, something I'm hoping to do in my next film.
