OMA- PAART TEU

I volunteer at the art museum in Oceanside where we give groups of 5th graders a tour of a James Hubbell exhibit that we have going on now and then we follow up with a craft. One of the tours that we did, this old lady floated over to listen and stayed with the kids for the whole tour. I loved that the kids barely noticed her even though most of the time she was standing dead in front of everyone. So I drew her and some of the kids from what I could remember. The eager kids are the ones that always get me.

Spike and Mike character sheet

Character sheet based on the Spike and Mike logo:

I'm not sure if I'll simplify it more as they'll probably look different from a lot of the other characters, or just let it be. I'll probably start animating and they'll turn into two little blobs with big eyes (my favorite).

A job!

I got some great news today! Spike from Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation asked me to make an animation as an opener to their shows! Here's the mini storyboard I did to visual the idea he had.

I'm taking a really long time with another animation I'm working on, but I finished, colored and Gif-ed one section as a preview. It should be pretty cute!
